Experience Mixed Martial Arts with a difference:
Welcome to a new era of MMA, where innovation and individualism take priority over tradition. Our training approach is concept and philosophy-driven with a blending of the martials arts inspired by Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do.
“Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, and add what is uniquely your own.”
Mixed Martial Arts is more than just a sport. It is an opportunity to express yourself as an individual while developing into a well-rounded martial artist.
Some of the Martial Arts disciplines our MMA classes include:
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) / Submission Grappling: Learn how to control, escape, submit and strike your opponent whilst on the ground.
- Muay Thai: This martial art will develop your stand up game while delivering devastating strikes including punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. You will learn combinations that transition seamlessly between stand-up, clinch and on the ground.
- Boxing: no doubt the best punching art in the world. Precision punching, head movement, and footwork are the base for dynamic and powerful empty hand striking. This art will teach you control in high-pressure situations and to hit with body mechanics, speed and accuracy.
- Wrestling: An essential part of the game. Learn to control your opponent and dictate where the fight takes place, whether it’s staying on your feet or taking the battle to the ground.
Why Jeet Kune Do Enhances MMA
MMA is simple but at the same time complex. While Skill, strategy, versatility, strength and endurance are all important, a deep understanding of application and concepts is equally important. Jeet Kune Do, with its emphasis on adaptability and “no style as style,” allows fighters to transcend the limitations of the traditional martial arts. Rather than fitting yourself into the mold of one style, our conceptual training will teach you to adapt and overcome based on the attributes you possess including your body type. There is no one size fits all.
- On your feet: We emphasis economy of motion, which helps you to land strikes with precision and without telegraphing your intentions. By combining a variety fo martial arts including but not limited to Muay Thai, boxing, and kickboxing techniques, you will develop the versatility to strike from any angle and range of combat.
- On the ground: There is no doubt that the BJJ game changes in MMA with the addition of striking. Control and immobilization is the key. Wrestling is the link between stand up and taking it to the ground. The ability to flow and move with the correct energy is essential in the transition between positions.
